New Delhi: The Supreme Court has ordered the closure of FIRs registered against students in connection with protests over the NEET paper leak, providing relief to students who faced criminal cases following the demonstrations.
The matter came before the apex court after petitions were filed seeking relief for students who had participated in protests related to the NEET examination controversy. Reports indicate that four states also urged the Supreme Court to quash FIRs registered against student protesters.
